Kaeng Raeng Cleanse

Cara was provided product to review. No other compensation was given. All opinions expressed are 100% her own.

For someone like me who is passionate about healthy living and eating, the word "cleanse" doesn't scare me at all. In fact, it does quite the opposite - it gets me a little excited. Call me crazy, but I love to remove toxins, improve my digestive health, and strengthen my immune system with a safe, healthy cleanse.

Thanks to Kaeng Raeng, I can do all of that in just 3 days - without much deprivation.

What is Kaeng Raeng? It is a 3 day or 6 day cleansing program, made up of vegan, gluten-free, caffeine-free shakes that are full meal replacements. It was created by a vegan certified personal trainer Lindsay Reinsmith. The words "Kaeng Raeng" actually means “be healthy, be strong” in Thai.

So, let's get into the details. Each Kaeng Raeng pouch is a full meal replacement and contains more than a full serving of fruit and fiber, 15g of lean non-GMO protein, probiotics, essential amino acids and vitamins, so you can detox without depriving yourself of important nutrients —or of flavor.

I am very careful about what I put into my body. I do NOT do juice cleanses or weird detox diets. I know you need protein, fiber, and lots of nutrients to keep your body healthy and happy. So, I was pleased to see Kaeng Raeng is very safe, with no laxatives or stimulants, artificial flavors or preservatives. It is made from real food ingredients. Period.

While you are on this cleanse, you drink one shake per meal, plus you can also eat as many raw fruits and vegetables as you like while you are on the cleanse. You just add their shake packet to 24-32 ounces of water, juice or non-dairy milk along with any fruit or veggies you like and drink up.

I tried adding frozen blueberries, cherries, spinach, strawberries and more to my shakes, and they were pretty good. It was a lot to drink, but it helped me to stay full. I did have some serious cravings for the other food I was making for my family to eat, but I was able to stick to the program (besides having some roasted salted cashews just one time).

What were my results? Besides spending plenty of time in the bathroom, which is normal, I felt great! I think the 3 day detox is the best place to start, and it did my body plenty of good!

If you have more questions about Kaeng Raeng, I recommend checking out their website and this beautiful brochure.
