- Live in the present. Eat joyfully. Once in a while, if you feel like having a treat, indulge, but do so mindfully. Savor each bite and really enjoy the flavor. As soon as you are satisfied, stop.

This is such a great tip and something that I try to implement all the time with varying levels of success. If I let myself have a treat, usually chocolate, I tend to eat too much of it and then feel sick to my stomach or guilty. I will definitely try to continue to work on it though.
ReplyDeleteYes, I have varying levels of success too! Just last night I was thinking again - "why do you think you have to snack so much at night? It doesn't make you happier? Just guilty..."
