Take Charge of Eating Tip #11

How is everyone enjoying these Take Charge of Eating tips? I personally am loving them and how they are helping me recheck my current ideas on eating and nutrition!

Here's today's that goes right along with yesterday's post about decreasing sugar.

#11 - Eat a lot of cooked, sweet vegetables like carrots, sweet potatoes, squash, beets, and onions when you are decreasing sugar intake. These foods help appease your sweet tooth, and they actually help fight sugar cravings.

So true! Isn't it awesome how God made little sweet treats for us in nature? I think sweet potato fries are one of the most delightful little treats to make, because they are so sweet and moist. Just the perfect side dish for dinner at the end of a long day...
