How did Tip #1 go? I think that one is so monumental, and a great place to start. Let's continue on our journey of taking charge of our eating with another great tip. (If you missed my post about why or how we are going to do this, check it out before you join us)
#2 - Resist being seduced by fad diets and exercise programs that make extreme promises. Everyone is different. There is no "one-size-fits-all" technique. Listen to your body, your inner wisdom, for clues about what you may need to become healthier.
Don't be afraid to experiment with different foods or different eating styles to see which makes your body feel its healthiest. Get in the habit of noticing how you feel before, during and after eating. This will help you become more aware of how your body likes to be cared for.

I have never trusted one-size-fits-all diets or exercise programs. Some are too extreme for anyone to seriously consider. A well balanced approach is always best.

ReplyDeleteThat is very profoundly true! Thanks for your thoughts, KC!
