Gnu Foods For Fiber!

Fiber. We all know we need it and quite a bit of it. If you don't have enough fiber in your diet, you will feel it - constipation is not a fun problem to have. You want to aim for about 20-35 grams of fiber per day! How many of you are getting that? Most Americans get only half of this recommended amount!! Yikes! I won't go into the problems that constipation causes in your body, just know you don't want to do that to yourself...
You can get plenty of fiber in your diet by eating healthy foods. But, for those days when you need a little extra fiber or you know your diet isn't up to par, you will love eating the delicious fiber-rich bars from Gnu Foods.

Can you believe that you get 50% of your daily fiber in one Gnu bar? Plus, they are made from all natural ingredients! They make the perfect snack bar, since they are 130-140 calories. I also love that they use organic whole wheat and kamut flours as part of the 6 whole grains in each bar.

Plus, you wouldn't believe how incredibly delicious these bars are! My absolute favorite is the Cinnamon Raisin bar. It honestly tastes just like a chewy oatmeal raisin cookie! Yumm! I also love the Peanut Butter bar and their three new flavors: Carrot Cake, Blondie, and Blueberry Cobbler!

I give these bars two thumbs wayyy up! I used them as a healthy snack during the last few weeks of pregnancy and now postpartum, and they have been great for helping keep my digestive system working smoothly and feeling great!

Where can you get your hands on these delicious, nutritious bars? Find a store near you that carries them or buy them online. When I searched near my new home, I found 10 stores that carried them, so I was super happy about that! Try them out for yourself and you'll see what I mean!

  1. I tried one of these the other day, I didn't even notice the brand, but I thought the name was cute! These are really tasty.
