Baltimore Bumble Crafts Organic Skincare Review and Giveaway

I love finding new small shops that sell outrageously pure and homemade products that are super high quality and made with so much love you can just feel it as you open your products.

That is what I thought as I stumbled across Baltimore Bumble Crafts one morning. This shop is built on the work of Vanessa Nakoski, who designs her own organic soaps and experiments with natural colorants, essential oils, and therapeutic oils (like neem). She learned the art of soap making from her boyfriend's mother, and she just took off from there to expand her line to shampoos, lotions, quilts, scrubs, and lip balm.

I received her Cocoa Butter Lotion Bar Orange Peel and Plucky Peppermint Soap, which you can see below.

I had never tried a lotion bar before, so I was excited to try this one out. I loved it! Let me say, don't expect the strong artificial fragrances you will find in most lotions these days. This lotion bar smells like what it is made of - which is the way I prefer it. Made of organic cocoa butter, organic beeswax, organic olive oil, and sweet orange essential oil, this bar is fantastic! No, it isn't as easy as a squirt bottle, but I like to rub it between my hands and enjoy the textures that are carved into it.

The Plucky Peppermint Soap is perfectly named. This soap is so invigorating. It is the perfect soap to use in the morning in your shower as you wake up. Again, it is made of lovely organic ingredients including organic oils, peppermint essential oil, rosemary extract and more. Make sure you keep this soap in a draining dish, so you don't end up wasting any of it down the drain.
