My Husband's Exciting News!

A little over a year ago, we made some BIG changes in our life. One of these included my husband resigning from being a pastor to focus on his amazing writing talent. He has been working on his first Christian fiction novel ever since. Since he also needs a "real" job, he is working as a plumber's apprentice for long hours during the day and getting up at around 4:30 am to write before work. Now that is dedication!

I have been lucky enough to be able to read snippets of his book along the way, and I have always been so impressed with it! While I have fun writing for this blog and sharing my passions with you all, I cannot fathom writing hundreds of pages of fiction. But, it just flows from him - God-given talent for sure!

His goal for 2013 was to finish his self-edited draft. He completed his goal, and I am so proud of him. His book, I Was There: When the Giant Fell, is being sent to his editor chapter by chapter, and we can't wait to have it fully published and in hard copy this year!

To give you a little idea of what you can look forward to reading about, his book takes a little known character, Benaiah, mentioned twice in the Bible and imagines what his life might have been like. He is an eye-witness to the epic battle between David and Goliath. It is full of vivid detail, personal struggles, and thought-provoking looks into Bible times and events from that period.

To stay up to date on what he is up to, make sure to check out his blog - Writing Free. He is also featured monthly on Bread for Beggars, which is a great website to take your time checking out.

I will keep you updated on his progress and when his book is available for purchase!

We use Grammarly's plagiarism checker because if we didn't write it first, then getting caught would be the worst! Thanks, Grammarly!
