Did you hear a lot of squishing, squirting, and gurgling over the holidays? Maybe you just hear that all of the time when you eat. For some of us, hearing it is one thing, but feeling it is another. Some of us suffer from TUMMY TROUBLES. Now what to do?
I found the best book to address this issue: 21-Day Tummy by Liz Vaccariello. The book explains all about foods that soothe and foods that help you shrink that belly. The book explains how to target gas, bloating, inflammation and everything else in the gut, by mapping out what to eat, and what not eat for the next 21 days.
I love the real stories in the book about the people who tried 21-Day Tummy. I was inspired by the person who dropped 19 pounds, and quit taking medicine for acid reflux. I also liked how there were numerous recipes and a complete day-to-day plan for the 21 days. There is even a section on exercise, which no plan should be without!
My favorite thing about the book was definitely how everything was laid out. I learned about BELLY BUDDIES AND BELLY BULLIES. That is, what exactly to eat and what to avoid. I knew that high fiber and anti-oxidant rich vegetables were good for you, along with seeds and lean meats. I didn't know that Greek yogurt was lower in lactose than normal yogurt. I trust this book as a friendly guide, cutting through to the right information.
