Living healthy natural lives is not always the easiest thing, which
is why I started my blog - to inspire and help others live their best
life healthfully and naturally. Friday Fun is my way of sharing a bit
of my life with you, my readers and friends, and I hope you will be
willing to share your thoughts and ideas with me too.
So, here we go!
In my life this week...
we had a great time going to my family reunion for the one day we could go. The kids had a blast playing with cousins, and I really enjoyed talking with cousins/aunts/uncles I only see once a year. We also had my son's kindergarten open house last night, which brought home to me again that my little boy is going to school in three weeks! Aughh! That realization always brings up so many emotions for me! Besides that, I have a couple new personal training clients, and I am enjoying getting to know them and working to help them get healthier.
I am inspired by...
my little daughter, Kailana's, joy and silliness. I love having children who help me see life in a different way. A garbage truck becomes something they marvel over. Climbing up a slide becomes a huge achievement. Going to the park is the highlight of their day. Having clean fingers after a meal lights up her whole face. I just love that all!
My favorite thing this week was...
Getting out of our routine and spending a night at the family reunion. I am a person who craves change/excitement in my life, and I love breaking up routines once in awhile.
What's working/not working for me...
Working -I have been experiencing some tendonitis in my foot and pain in my knee. I am sure it is from overuse, and I desperately needed new workout shoes. So, after getting new shoes and pumping up my Omega 3 supplements and alfalfa to fight the inflammation, my foot and knee are feeling much better.
Not
working - Struggling to connect with my husband this week. I don't know what it is - maybe tiredness on his part combined with little patience on my part - but we haven't been loving each other like we need. We are supposed to have some time together tonight, so maybe we can reconnect.
Questions/thoughts I have...
How is life going to be for me and for my son when he starts kindergarten. (5 days a week, all day long)
I'm reading...

I'm cooking...

I'm grateful for...
birds singing outside my window, a refrigerator to store food safely, joy on my children's faces, safe travels, a healthy garden
A photo, video, link, or quote to share...
I also posted this on our Facebook page, but I love it so much, I had to post it again. :-)
