All-Natural Low-Calorie Ice Cream

Cara was provided product to review. No other compensation was given. All opinions expressed are 100% her own.

Yes, you read right. Is there such thing as a low-calorie, all-natural ice cream. (that tastes good?)

I am happy to announce I have finally found one that I give a thumbs up!

New Halo Top Creamery is not only all-natural, low-calorie ice cream. It is also low in sugar, high in protein, and made with top-quality ingredients like organic Madagascar vanilla, organic strawberries, cage-free eggs and hormone-free dairy.

At only 70 calories per serving (80 calories for chocolate), you might be wondering, "But, does it even taste like decadent ice cream?"

Yes, it does!!

My favorite flavor is the lemon cake or the chocolate. The lemon cake actually tastes like delicious lemony cake batter - refreshing and decadent! The chocolate is just bliss!

Here is a lowdown on all the flavors:
  • Vanilla Bean – “Boring vanilla?” Not this time! Halo Top’s Vanilla Bean is made with organic Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Vanilla, considered the standard bearer among vanilla connoisseurs.
  • Chocolate – Rich and decadent the way chocolate should be, Halo Top’s Chocolate is crafted with award-winning Belgian chocolate and is the definitive “permission to indulge” treat chocolate ice cream fans have waited for their entire lives.
  • Lemon Cake – So long, standard tart lemon flavor! Halo Top’s rich yet subtle Lemon Cake contains organic lemon zest with a tantalizingly smooth cheesecake-like texture that will prompt what can only be called the “Halo Top Double Take” – the re-reading of the label to make sure it really says low-calorie!
  • Strawberry – As far removed as possible from the faux strawberry swirled ice creams loaded with artificial ingredients we’ve all subjected ourselves to over the years, Halo Top’s Strawberry is the real deal – crafted with real, organic strawberries.
Halo Top is on shelves or coming soon to more than 300 stores across 17 states, including Sprouts, select Whole Foods and Earth Fare. Please visit halotop.com for store locations and more information.
