Dawn Publication New Spring Books!

Ever since I was introduced to Dawn Publications and their beautiful, educational children's books, I have been a HUGE fan! Their books are full of lively illustrations, interesting facts about nature and hands-on activities to do as a family.

This season Dawn Publications has new books for Spring featuring gardens, bugs and two new board books from the Jo MacDonald series! Our family was thrilled to receive them!

What's In the Garden? is a new favorite of my 4 year old son. This book is packed full of a variety of fruits and veggies you find your garden. The best part? Each fruit or veggie comes with a yummy, kid-friendly recipe to help develop a love for fresh, healthy foods! Plus, there is an awesome "food for thought" section that gives interesting facts about each fruit and vegetable. The "how does your garden grow?" section, with cool facts about gardening and plants, really got my son excited for planting our garden in Spring. I love this book for reinforcing healthy foods and the excitement it brings to growing and cooking your own food!

Noisy Bug Sing-Along is a delightful book that brought our children lots of giggles and fun imitating the insects that live around our home. Not only is it a fun way to learn about what is lurking outside in a way that helps quell bug fears, it has a lot of interesting facts about them that even I didn't know! And the pictures in the book are just fantastic! We also had a lot of fun as a family playing the "bug games" that are suggested in the back. I never thought a book about bugs could be so much fun for me and my kids!

They also have two new board books for the really young children, Jo MacDonald Saw a Pond and Jo MacDonald Had a Garden. Each of these books follows the sweet little granddaughter of Old MacDonald as she learns about wild creatures at the pond in the first book and all the healthy food and little creatures of the garden in the second book. Each book is another delightful take on the song, "Old MacDonald Had a Farm." You get to sing along with the new versions as you explore the beautiful illustrations and follow along with the story.

I love that these last two books are board books. With three kids who love to read, books can take quite a beating in our house. I find that the sturdy board books can withstand the almost-daily use of my older two kids and the slimy, grimy fingers of my littlest one.

Check out all 4 of these new Spring books from Dawn Publications. Right now, you can even get 25% off all of them! Trust me, that is a steal of a deal for what you are getting in these books. Dawn Publications never disappoints me with their book quality, and they are always a hit in our family! Get your children excited about Spring and gardening season with these great books!
