Baobab Fruit Powder Review

Baobab - funny word, right? Have you ever heard of it, because I hadn't until I read about it online and tried it for myself? Now that I do know about it, I am pretty blown away by it's awesomeness, and I think you should know about it too!

Baobab is known as the perfect fruit - a fruit so nutritious, so packed full of goodness, that people have been nourished by its bounty for centuries. One of the things that makes it so special is that this fruit  is so well designed that it requires almost no processing while maintaining maximum nutrient potency and synergy! That is something to celebrate in this day and age of over processed, nutrient-devoid food!

So, I received Baobest Baobab Fruit Powder. This is simply one of the most nutritious foods on earth. I love Baobest brand, because they add absolutely nothing to their Baobest Fruit Powder – no sugar, no sodium, no preservatives. Their Fruit Powder dries naturally on the tree in South Africa and is simply ground into a fine powder. That’s right, no freeze drying, heat extraction or pasteurization to upset nature’s nutritional synergy. I LOVE their high quality control – tracking the fruit from its tree of origin through the moment it is hermetically sealed for shipment. You can rest assured that each batch of their Baobest Fruit Powder is 100% pure.

After finding out how awesome Baobab is, I just kept wondering why I hadn't heard of it before. Well, it turns out that it simply hasn't been imported into North America until recently. It's well known in Africa, and very much depended upon, but only now are we getting the chance to learn about it and try it. I raise a big glass of Baobab Fruit drink to that!

I enjoy mixing about a teaspoon or two with a nice big glass of water before, during or after my workouts. Each glass of this tangy drink is jam-packed with antioxidants, fiber and electrolytes (magnesium and potassium to help you recover after a workout), calcium and Vitamin C.

While it isn't a sweet drink, it is still fast becoming a favorite of mine. Yes, it is tangy and a little sour, but the taste isn't too bad, and the health benefits are out of this world! I love it!

I encourage you to try it. You can buy a 16 oz. bag of Baobab Fruit Powder for $27.99. Also, check out the other Baobab products that Baobest sells. Drink up!
