Whoa, horsey!
I woke up this morning after a night of very restless sleep. I didn't feel good at all. My hands were shaky. I felt nauseous, and I immediately thought, "Sugar withdrawal." Ughh...I felt so sick. So, I dragged myself out to the couch and ate a banana and cashews to try to help.
After eating a breakfast of scrambled eggs and veggies, I started feeling better. Good thing, because I don't have the luxury of being sick with three little ones.
In the Whole30 plan, they talk about the first week being the worst. They say that you will feel detox symptoms like headaches, fatigue, nausea, etc. So, I am guessing that since I am on day 3, it is kicking in. My body hasn't had any sugar except a few pieces of fruit in 3 days. This is a world record for me, and my body is learning to adjust.
So, until I start feeling better, I will be patient and remember why I am doing this....

How awful. Side effects like that are terrible. One wouldn't think the bodies reaction to a diet change would be that severe. With little ones like you have, that is something you can't afford. If you are close to family, are they giving you a hand with the children until your system settles down?
