Living healthy natural lives is not always the easiest thing, which is
why I started my blog - to inspire and help others live their best life
healthfully and naturally. I want to give you examples of how I am doing
it through weekly updates, and I am hoping some of you will be willing
to share your thoughts and ideas too.
So, here we go! I hope this helps and inspires all of you!
In my life this week...
Busy, busy, busy - trying to hang pictures, unpack a bit more, get my Minnesota license and get our vehicles registered, but of course, nothing ever goes as smoothly as you plan. We found our new library, had a little play date with a friend who has a daycare, went to our new church and Sunday School for the first time, and I had a girls night with one of my sisters.
I am inspired by...
I am inspired by my very friendly neighbor, who helped me out after I got locked out of our house with our three kids, and then brought me cookies the next day, as well as went to the post office for me. So sweet and thoughtful!
My favorite thing this week was...
dancing and singing with my kids in the kitchen to start our day off on a good note!
What's working/not working for me...
Working
- getting the house to feel more like a home...
Not
working - it has been really challenging to cook the meals I want to make for my family with three kids getting into trouble, screaming, or needing me for something. That is definitely the most chaotic part of my day, and it has been really frustrating. Cooking has become kind of therapeutic for me, and not feeling like I can make my family a nice, healthy meal bugs me. Solutions?
Questions/thoughts I have...
What would I do without my family?
Things I'm working on...
decorating our house, keeping it clean, keeping up with my Fitness Accountability clients, and all the usual...
I'm reading...
a really great book about the Paleo diet, fitness mags, lots of kids books, including one of my new favorites - "Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are?" by Dr. Seuss.
I'm cooking...
Spaghetti Squash, Pasta, Sweet Potato fries, and not much else
I'm grateful for...
my big garbage canisters to load leaves and dump them into my future garden area, the children's section of our new library that is organized by author, subject, etc. and spaghetti squash. It is so cool!
