Go Green For Halloween!

Have you ever thought about how easy it would be to swap costumes for Halloween instead of buying a new costume every year? Think about how much waste we would save...

National Costume Swap Day is coming up on Saturday, October 8.

I highly encourage all of you who get excited about costumes and Halloween to host a costume swap. Not only is it another way to have fun with your friends and meet new friends, but it will also save you money and save waste! It is a complete win/win situation!

You can easily register your costume swap for free on the website. Not only does registering let your community know about your swap, but it also helps media to find potential stories. Your swap will be a community building activity and save many families a lot of money. For ideas on hosting a swap, check out these tips.

If you don't want to host a swap, don't worry. You can find a local swap near you.
