Live Raw Book Review

I have a great book for all you who are trying to eat more healthy foods, interested in raw foods, or have already adopted a raw diet.

Live Raw: The Natural Way to Good Health and Timeless BeautyLive Raw by Mimi Kirk is a very comprehensive book of raw food recipes for good health and timeless beauty. In the book, you will find stories about Mimi, beauty tips, health tips, detoxifying plan, and lots of ideas on how to live a happy, healthy long life. It also offers 120 recipes made of whole healthy ingredients.

What does "raw" mean anyway? Well, raw food includes fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds, sprouts, grains, seaweed, spices, herbs, oils and sweeteners that you can combine in tons of different ways to have delicous food.  It is uncooked, unprocessed and organic. It can be dehydrated, fermented, sprouted, and sundried.

There are tons of benefits of eating raw, including:  weight loss, more energy, glowing skin, and better digestion.

I have thought about adopting a raw diet, but I haven't gone high-raw yet (which means 75% of your food comes from consuming raw foods). I do try to have raw foods at each meal, so I am getting those awesome digestive enzymes.

I highly recommend this book to all of you who want to take a second and think about how you can improve your diet. Do you eat raw foods with every meal? Do you need to eat more raw foods? Maybe you don't know how to incorporate raw foods into your diet. This book can help!!

I especially love all the pictures of the delicous recipes. I am a picture girl, and I love to see what I will be cooking as I cook it. How does a mango smoothie sound? How about butternut squash soup or flaxseed crackers? You can even make raw macaroni and cheese!(which is actually zucchini pieces and a cashew cheese)

As summer comes up and fresh produce is easily available, now is a great time to try raw!! Find Live Raw on Amazon here for a great price.
