Spring Detox - Day 8

Staying with the healthy digestion theme, today we are going to talk about bowel health.

You can optimize bowel health by getting enough fiber in your diet.  Americans are greatly under par when it comes to eating fiber, which is why we have so many digestion problems. Dietary fiber is essential to normalize bowel transit time, blood sugar levels, and blood cholesterol levels. It also supports detoxification.

How do you get the fiber you need? Lots of fruits, veggies, and whole grains like quinoa, brown rice, amaranth, etc. They should be the foundation of your diet. Otherwise, you can also use a good quality fiber supplement like Fiber Plan Tablets or Fiber Plan blend that mixes in liquids.
