Gorgeous! The Sum of All Your Glorious Parts Book Review

You may be thinking, Gorgeous! The Sum of All Your Glorious Parts doesn't sound like it belongs in a Healthy Cooking Event, so let me explain how this book fits in.

Gorgeous! The Sum of All Your Glorious Parts is the ultimate lifestyle enhancement guide. It shows smart, on-the-go women how to let their natural beauty blossom from the inside out. It is filled with information about the science of good health and beauty, food tips and recipes that promote wellness, and tips for stress-reducing exercise and relaxation techniques that builds on good science and good food. All of it is designed to help today’s women make the most of their minds and bodies to create a wonderful life.

The author, Jorj Morgan, is the author of five cookbooks, a qualified food expert and regularly contributes to national and local publications. Her in-the-trenches expertise in the culinary field include owning and cooking for her own catering company, as well as twenty-five years of entertaining and cooking for her family of three sons, two grandchildren, eight nieces and nephews, and hundreds of extended family friends.

This book is broken down into 4 parts, which I appreciated. I like organization, and it makes it easier to refer back to the book.

The first part shows you how to organize your kitchen and create weekly meal plans that included wholesome, fresh foods. It also includes a variety of spa secrets for restoring your energy at home.

The second part gives tons of information about each part of our body and shows how to combine good science with a healthy lifestyle.  Plus, there are lots of recipes to show you how to pamper each part of your body.

Part three talks about how there is a relationship between sleep, reducing stress, and good sex for enhancing inner and outer beauty and well-being. She gives great tips on improving all three areas of your life.

The last part is a year-long lifestyle guide of weekly meal plans, daily activities, and relaxation techniques.

This book is so comprehensive!! It has everything you want to know about taking care of each part of your body with nutrition and healthy habits. I really appreciated all the great information. She broke down a lot of the information into question and answer format, which I like too.

The recipes were a little too fancy for me. For instance, I won't be making eggs with caviar and strawberries anytime soon. So, I don't know how much use I will get from her recipe sections, but there are a few I may try.

Overall, this is a very comprehensive cookbook and lifestyle enhancement book. I like a lot of her tips, and I think there is a lot of value in reading her book. If you are having trouble with a particular area of your body like hair or skin, I think you would really appreciate this book. You can buy it here.
