Sjaak's Vegan Chocolates Review

Since I am now on a journey leaning in to eating vegan, one of the first things I wanted to do was find some vegan chocolate. Yes, yes, it is true. You can be vegan and have chocolate!!

I found Sjaak's chocolates, which is a family run business, and I fell in love with their company and products!

The Sjaak’s Story began on the Southern beaches of Spain. This is where Jacques and Pam met and fell in love. They soon came back and settled in Eureka (northern ca.) where Pam had grown up. They began a Chocolate business that grew into a household name in their community. After years of building a thriving business, they realized that they needed to shift their attention to organic products. Being long time vegetarians (since 1970) and health conscious consumers themselves, they felt they needed their personal beliefs reflected in their business, thus the beginning of Sjaak’s Organic chocolates.)

Sjaak's Organic Chocolates aims to create the highest quality gourmet organic chocolates possible while simultaneously supporting a positive work environment, fair trade practices and encouraging sustainable agriculture through the use of organic, non-GMO ingredients. It is also the goal of Sjaak's Organic Chocolates to build a socially responsible, profitable business that can be carried on for generations to come.

Like I said before, they have a great selection of vegan chocolates. I tried some of their Eli's Earth Bars, which are fantastic!!  Eli’s Earth Bars are organic and Fair trade which makes them environmentally and socially responsible. And they taste great!! Doesn't caramel, peanut butter, coconut, and chocolate make a great combination? I think so, and those are some of the ingredients that make up their variety of bars.

I always wondered if vegan chocolate was going to taste gross, but that is so not the truth. They are every bit as tasty, and I will be going back for more!

Check out these delicious chocolates and more at Sjaak's. They are true chocolatiers that use the best ingredients and make fantastic chocolates!

*Sjaak's provided me product to review, and I was under no obligation to review if I so chose. Nor was I under any obligation to write a positive review in return for the free product.*
