Does Your Pelvic Floor Need Help?

This post is brought to you by InControl Medical. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.

Have you had a baby? If you have, you know that your pelvic floor takes a beating after delivering a baby naturally. Did you know that childbirth is the number one reason a woman's pelvic floor is weakened? The pelvic floor is a group of muscles at the base of the torso and responsible for supporting the internal organs. When the pelvic floor becomes stretched or weakened, you may experience bladder leakage when coughing, laughing, sneezing or exercising. This is not fun, which is why it is so important to strengthen that pelvic floor as soon as possible after giving birth. I cannot tell you how many of my fitness clients suffer from these issues, so hopefully this post will help many of you!

As a mother who gave birth naturally four times, I can completely relate to this. Let me first say, I think the more you stay active and healthy during your pregnancy, the better you will be able to bounce back after. One of the first things you can do to strengthen that pelvic floor right away is get back to doing your kegels. If you are not familiar with this exercise, you can google it and get a million results helping you do it correctly.

There is also a new product out by InControl Medical, the Apex, that can help you strengthen your pelvic floor muscles. Hundreds of physicians have recommended the Apex to postpartum patients as treatment to restore their pelvic floor after childbirth. The Apex device is used in the privacy and comfort of your own home, so no worries there. Check out the video below to get more of an idea how to use Apex.

Instead of having to be embarrassed by leakage or having to use pad after pad, take back control of your pelvic floor muscles! It is not too late!

To learn more about the Apex device, please visit www.dontpadtheproblem.com. For the next 30 days, they will be offering a $35 discount plus free shipping (enter code MBCN15 at checkout).
