When I think of toning, I think of all parts of my body: my arms, my abs, my glutes and my legs. I know it's important to train the muscles in those areas. Why is it that I neglect my face? Hmmmm...I know the face has muscles, and I know I can strengthen muscles to provide shape. I've been to a lot of fitness classes over the years, and felt that soreness where I didn't know there was a place to be sore. However, I don't remember ever having an instructor lead me in face toning.
Of course, there is a book for that! The 5-Minute Facial Workout by Catherine Pez beautifully details 30 exercises for those 50 or so muscles in the place that everyone sees first-your face! The book lays out the exercises simply, with both a visual and verbal explanation. Page by page, this book is one of the easiest to understand and refer to. Check out one of the exercises pictured below:
Get started exercising your face right now! After all, isn't that the part of your body that people look at first anyway?

I've seen before facial exercises. I think many ppl don't realize the muscles in their face will start sagging. I don't do them, but I admire ppl who do!
