ItsyKit Review

Cara was provided product to review. No other compensation was given. All opinions expressed are 100% her own.

This has been the longest....winter.....ever. With three kids all cooped up in this house from October through now, I have been working overtime trying to think of new and fun projects they can do indoors. That is when I found out about ItsySparks and their ItsyKits.

ItsyKits are the coolest new monthly subscription box for kids!
  • Enjoy monthly themed activity kits with 3-4 fun-filled educational projects.
  • Engage and collaborate creatively with your little one, creating lasting memories.
  • Further the learning and fun with their ItsySparks, tools and extended activities to enrich each project.
  • All the materials you need are provided and shipping is free!
My kids were super excited to open our ItsyKit and see what was inside (truth be told, I think I was just as excited as they were). Here is what we found!

Wrapped nicely inside were all the tools, materials, and instructions to complete 4 really special projects, including a caterpillar to grow plants in, a crafty bug, a bird feeder, and a canvas bag to decorate. We decided to go ahead right away and start the little yarn bug project. They included pictures of what their end result looked like, all the paper, yarn, pipecleaners, and they even included the glue and scissors! I didn't have to go searching the house for anything! It was all packed neatly into clear plastic bags.
The kids really enjoyed using their creativity to make their own bugs. I helped them out along the way, since my 2 year old need some assistance with this project. We also had fun learning a little more about bugs with the interesting science facts the ItsyKit provided. The kids' bugs turned out really cute, got them excited about Spring, and helped to pass another snowy day inside. You can see below how proud they are of their creations.
Learn more about the ItsyKit and sign up for a 12 month, 6 month or monthly subscription. This would also be an awesome gift idea for any children in your life!
