Take Charge of Eating Tip #4

Today's tip on our "Take Charge of Eating" journey is right up my alley. In fact, this might be one of the only tips I am currently good at. (If you missed my post about why or how we are doing this, check it out before you join us)

#4 - Stay active! God designed our bodies to dance, run, play, jump, and stretch. Allow your body's energy to blossom by engaging in yoga, stretching, martial arts, sports, dance, and cardiovascular activity. Think of what you'd like to do and have fun!

I found a tip I am good at, yippee!! Maybe this is one you are not as excited about, but take a look at that list above and let all those fabulous things motivate you!

Oh, and if you are wondering what this tip has to do with healthy eating, you'll be surprised. When you move and exercise, your digestive system will love you so much more! Plus, I have found that exercise helps people feel healthier and want to eat healthier too.

  1. This is my favorite tip too! I do love to exercise, so that has never been a big challenge for me.

  2. I know this is true, but exercise always seems to end up on the bottom of my "Things To Do List." I have printed this off and am going to post it on the refrigerator. It will give me a good reminder to MAKE time for exercise every day.

    1. Great idea!! Yes, sometimes you just have to schedule it in to your master calendar. It is a priority!
