Laura's Wholesome Junk Food may seem like a contradiction, but let me explain. Using ingredients you can pronounce, Dr. Laura grew up making healthy cookie recipes with her mom. Instead of making treats full of artificial ingredients that will make your body scream, "Ick!" Laura uses wholesome, real ingredients like non-GMO soy, oats, unsweetened coconut, and more to make the most delicious, nutritious junk food you have ever tasted!
I have been a fan of Laura's since I was first introduced to them over a year ago. Sometimes I go out of my way to find a Whole Foods, just so I can stock up and indulge in these favorite treats!
My all-time favorite flavor is the Extreme Chocolate Fudge, but Oatmeal Chocolate Chip and Cranberry Breakfast are a close second. These cookies are extremely moist, seem to melt in your mouth, and fuel your body instead of causing it to go into a artificial ingredient tantrum. Plus, did I mention they are vegan, kosher and cholesterol free? For all my
gluten free friends, there are several products that don't have gluten
ingredients in them.
The only problem I have with these cookies is my self-control. It is so tempting to sit down and gobble them up one by one until the tub is empty. Yes, they are that good! So, I try to eat them slowly and savor each one.
