Friday Fun!

Living healthy natural lives is not always the easiest thing, which is why I started my blog - to inspire and help others live their best life healthfully and naturally. I want to give you examples of how I am doing it through weekly updates, and I am hoping some of you will be willing to share your thoughts and ideas too.

So, here we go! I hope this helps and inspires all of you!

In my life this week...
I have been going on a total emotional roller coaster - contractions and then no contractions, feeling ready for baby and then feeling totally unprepared, tired and then energetic, and so on...

I am inspired by...
people who can wait patiently with a good attitude no matter what storms enter their life.

My favorite thing this week was...
visiting my midwife. She calmed me right down and got things back in perspective...until I got home and reality hit me again. :-)

What's working/not working for me...
Working - organizing and cleaning my house. Yes, I have to continually clean, because I have two young kids who love messes. But, I love feeling like my house is as clean as I can get it and things are ready for baby #3.

Not working - waiting patiently...any suggestions???

Questions/thoughts I have...
Why do I always think my way is the best way?

Things I'm working on...
finishing up my last Boot Camp classes, trying to plan some fun activities to keep my mind off of labor, cooking, cleaning, and reading.

I'm reading...
Psalms in the Bible, happy birth stories, and a new book, "Cassidy"

I'm cooking...
spicy chicken and brown rice, black bean bowls, and something with pumpkin

I'm grateful for...
my blessed life. I can never be thankful enough and that always keeps me grounded and calms my troubled heart.

A photo, video, link, or quote to share...

My son, Malachi, getting ready for camping in the backyard. What is more fun?

A problem we all have. It is so hard to step back from it and look at things objectively. I try, but it is usually too late.

It is so hard as delivery time gets nearer, to chill out, relax, and wait. It is one of those things you really don't want to do, but can't wait to get started - then it will be over.

I hope this week goes smoothly for you and you have good luck keeping your perspective.
