Shoplet and Roaring Spring Paper Review

Earth Day is coming up, and I have been having fun sharing with you many ways you can easily live a little greener and make a big difference! Today, I want to share a way you can "green" your office supplies and paper products.

Shopping at Shoplet.com for Roaring Spring paper products is a great way to make more eco-friendly choices in paper. They use recycled paper to make their high-quality, useful products!

The first product I want to share with you is the Roaring Spring Wirebound Notebook - 3 Subject. The first thing I noticed about this notebook was how durable it is. It is made with a heavy duty vinyl cover and strong cardboard back, so it will last you through all the ways you want to use it. No more flimsy notebooks falling apart every time you pull them out to use them. Because it is wire-bound, it is easy to turn the pages also. The handy-dandy double front pocket is great for storing extra notes or reminders. It is a 3 subject paper notebook, and I love that it divides the three subjects by really nice pastel-like colors of blue, pink and orchid. The best part is that it is all recycled color paper!

I also love the Roaring Spring Environotes Sugarcane Notebook. My favorite part of this notebook is that the paper is produced from sustainable sugarcane fiber. Did you know producing sugarcane paper conserves over 60,000 acres of forestland every year? Thank you Roaring Spring for providing us with such an eco-friendly option! Besides being so earth friendly, this notebook is very durable and very handy. It is smaller than your average notebook, so it will fit nicely into a purse or handbag. I love to use it to make notes on what I need from the grocery store or what I am on the lookout for at garage sales.

If you think sugarcane paper sounded awesome, wait until you hear what is next! I have saved the best for last! Roaring Spring Elephant PooPoo Paper is really made from elephant poo! Now, before you think, "Ewww..." just hold on. It is an odorless paper that is a fantastic example of sustainability and responsible consumption. Each page is thick and sturdy and reminds you what an eco-friendly choice you have made! You can see the grass fibers that make up the paper pulp on each page. I love it! Each small notebook is individually wrapped and designed to inspire faith, hope, love, peace, and change. This would make the perfect journal or mini-notebook. My children are begging me to give it to them, because they are tickled by the fact that it is PooPoo Paper, and the size is perfect for them!

As you can see, it is very easy to make "green" paper choices with the help of Shoplet and Roaring Spring. You can find all these note pads and more notebooks online right on Shoplet.com. Happy Earth Day!

  1. There is no reason we shouldn't be using more of the byproducts derived from different processes. Some can be used for paper or cardboard like these. Others would be usable for animal feed. I remember a dairy farm located near a pineapple processing plant. The leftovers from the processing was fed to the cows.
