Beautiful Ambition Book Review

I love learning about other people's lives and their experiences. That is what drew me to the book, Beautiful Ambition. My Secrets to Love, Happiness and Success, where author Tara Brooke describes her difficult childhood and how she was able to grow from adversity at a young age to manifesting her dreams. She shares openly and from the heart how painful her early years were but also declares that she is “happy for having gone through the experience that has made her so strong”. Tara set out on the path of personal growth and wants to tell you how through both her positive and negative lessons you can save time and ultimately have it all!

While I must admit, I was turned off at first by the cover of the book and Tara's seemingly perfect life, once I opened it and started reading, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Tara offers some great tips to reaching your goals.

I appreciate how this book is laid out with important ideas in bold and a review of the most important points at the end of each chapter. It makes it very easy to go back and refresh yourself of those points you want to remember.

I also love how, throughout the book, Tara gave "Great Examples" of women who are living the tips she gives in a fantastic way. It was interesting to read their stories and learn from them too.

Tara's tips and secrets were all pretty spot on, and I especially loved her chapter on nutrition, "To Eat or Not To Eat?" I wholeheartedly agree with her recommendation to make vitamins and supplements, organic food, and balanced eating a priority for your health.

  2. Exactly what I was thinking, Pat. But, I guess we have to remember not to judge a book by its cover. :-)
