I just got back from a weekend trip to see my family in Wisconsin. It is about a 6 hour drive. For those of you with children, you know that six hours can turn into a nightmare. I have a 7 month old daughter who doesn't love to sit in her car seat, to put it mildly. So, to help her relax and sleep better in her chair, I used my Baby Moon Pillow.
Baby Moon Pillows are designed by Kelly Su, founder of Baby Moon. She says, "My design philosophy is to create functional products with modern style at an affordable price for all moms (and dads). The inspiration for the Baby Moon pillow and neck support was born from my experience with my own baby, Kaitlyn." Her daughter's head was becoming flat after lying too much on her back. Kelly wanted to resolve the problem before it got too bad, which is when she came up with these pillows. You can read more here.
I love how versatile these pillows are! You can use them for head support for younger babies or as neck support for older babies. Since my daughter is 7 months old, she could use the neck support. We have used it for neck support when she is lying down like the picture below and in the car so her poor head doesn't flop around so much as she sleeps.
I received the Maize Dot pillow, and like you can see above, my daughter loves this pillow.
So, what sets this apart from other baby pillows that look similar?
The Baby Moon Pillows have this velcro strip that holds it together for when baby is small and needs the doughnut shape to support their head. Then, when your child gets older, you just fold over the peek-a-boo cover to hide the velcro when you want to use it for neck support. It is a great idea! The more versatile a product, the more I love it! My only suggestionn with these pillows is that they use organic materials. It is like they have read my mind, because the organic pillows are coming soon!
These pillows come in lots of different shapes and prints, so choose the one you like best! Thanks, Baby Moon!

What a great product. I think America is one of the few countries in the world that just allows its babies to develop flat heads. Traditionally babies didn't sleep on their backs all the time, and mothers would use oils and massage to make their babies' heads return to a round shape after birth. This pillow would really help with that.
