I want to share with you a new way we can live greener, make a difference and save money in the process. Litter Free Lunch helps you do all that as you make small changes in your child's lunch products. They offer reusable snack bags, sandwich bags, napkins and more that will help you reduce waste. It is no wonder that the founders of this company are both moms who have a lot of experience with school lunches!
Did you know that a household of four that replaces paper napkins with reusable cloth ones could save $70 per year or more on napkin costs, and reduce their waste by up to 40 pounds per year. If every household made this shift, we could prevent 1.5 million tons of paper napkin waste from entering the landfill each year. And that is just napkins!!
I received a Go Green Trio, which includes: 1 sandwich bag, 1 snack bag, and 1 cotton napkin. I have never used anything like this, so I was pretty excited about it. I really hate using plastic lunch bags anyways, because who knows what is leaching into our food from those? The sandwich and snack bag have plenty of room in them for what they need to hold. I also love that each piece has a little tag where you can write your child's name, because all of us mothers and teachers know how easily things can get lost at school. The trio comes in a variety of colors, so if you want to get each one of your children a different color, you can!
If you are interested in even more tips on having a litter free lunch, check these out.
You can order your Go Green Trio or some of their other products today! Just head on over to their website and grab all your favorites. Start saving money and our environment today! Remember, every little thing you do DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!
One of my fabulous readers is going to get the chance to make a difference by using Litter Free Lunch's reusable napkins. We are giving away a set of their royal blue 100% cotton lunchbox napkins!!!

My biggest money-saver & eco-friendly habit is cloth diapering, although I'm slowly adding non-paper napkins and have a few sandwich bags that we use for hubby's lunches and daughter's snacks.

We just stopped buying paper towels and napkins and are now using cloth napkins and reusable cloth towels. It's more laundry but way cheaper and more Eco-friendly.

I save some green and live greener by trying to avoid using baggies whenever I can. It's a hard habit to break, but one well worth pursuing!

Favorite way to save a little money and live in a more eco-friendly way: I like to use baking soda, borax and vinegar to clean instead of store-bought cleaners.
