Get Ready to Lose Big!

So, how many of you watch the Biggest Loser? Overall, I think it is a great show. It really has opened up many people's eyes to one of America's biggest health concerns. Did you know that more than 1/3 of America is obese??? Let that sink in for a minute...

Sadly, many people go about losing weight in the wrong kind of ways that don't lead to successful long term weight loss. There is no quick fix. Losing weight involves three things: looking at why and how you gained all the weight, starting an exercise program and changing your eating habits. You have to be willing to be patient and work your butt off!

I am doing a Healthy Weight Night for my clients and fitness class participants in a couple weeks, and I want to share with you some of the things I am going to present to them.

First of all, a few ways to measure your health:

BMI (Body Mass Index) - yours should be 18.5 - 25.

Blood Pressure - yours should be 120/80 or lower

Cholesterol - total cholesterol should be under 200 mg/dl

A site I love to share with everyone who is looking for healthy weight management is www.cinchplan.com/caranitz
If you go to the free profile analysis, you can find out what your BMI is, get a guide to how many calories you should consume daily, and then you can get started managing your weight right away with their help, if you choose.

The reason I love the Cinch program is that first of all, they give you all the tools you need: healthy recipes, measuring tools, motivational videos, an online learning and support center, and fabulous meal replacement and dietary supplements.

What makes Cinch different than Slim Fast or something of that nature? Well, Cinch products are made from the highest quality natural ingredients. They are powered by Leucine, which is an amino acid used in muscle building. It helps you keep your muscle and burn more fat, which makes it very different from most diets. When you start dieting, your body goes into a starvation kind of mode and starts storing fat and burning muscle. This is not what you want, because more muscle = more calories burned each day.

I have seen the Cinch program work, and I know it is safe and healthy, which is why I give it two thumbs way up for helping people get healthy and live their best life!
