Favorite Books Giveaway!

I love a good book! If I can learn new things about good health while reading a new book, I am in heaven. So, I can't help but share some of my favorite Good-For-You books from Viva Editions with all of you for this gift guide. These all make perfect stocking stuffers and hostess gifts!

Fix it Make It Grow It Bake It: The D.I.Y. Guide to the Good Life by Billee Sharp is my fav, fav, favorite! There is so much awesome information in this book! When I was reading, I was folding over corners of the pages I wanted to note. When I finished, I realized that probably half of the pages of the book were folded over! From learning how to use essential oils, to cooking meals for pennies, to raising organic veggies in your front lawn, this book is fabulous! I am so excited to share it with all of you!
Frugal Foodie Cookbook: Waste-Not Recipes for the Wise Cook by Lara Starr is a fabulous book to teach all you frugalistas (how do you like that word?) some great tips to keep you and your family well - and eating even better! This book is full of hundreds of different recipes that you can use for your family or for entertaining guests. I love that this isn't a big, thick book like so many other recipe books, because any space I can save in my kitchen is a plus.
The Lazy Gourmet: Magnificent Meals Made Easy by Robin Donovan and Juliana Gallin is the perfect gift to give your friend who wants to dazzle others with their elegant meals without spending 8000 hours in the kitchen. The authors' motto is "Cooking a great meal can be just as easy as cooking a crappy meal!" Well said! How does Oven-Roasted Salmon with Garlic Confit sound? What about Miniature Flourless Chocolate Cakes? Yummm! This is such a fun and fabulous book!

Fatigue Prescription: Four Steps to Renewing Your Energy, Health and Life by Dr Linda Clever is THE book to give all your tired, overworked, stressed out family and friends. The question of "Are you living a to-do list instead of a life?" was profound for me, and made me re-think a lot of what I do. I love how clearly and practically Dr. Clever helps the reader apply this book to their life through a workbook-style approach. This is a FABULOUS book, and I highly recommend it to all of you! As New Year's comes up, and we all make resolutions, this book will help you actually achieve them. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
