Well, from the moment you step out of bed in the morning until the moment you go to bed, (and actually, all that time you spend sleeping too) our bodies are constantly exposed to toxic chemicals - from the air you breathe, to your soaps, moisturizers, food, carpet, mattress, and even your drinking water. By incorporating one detox tip every day for this month, you can gradually and easily reduce your body's toxic load, and maybe even creat some healthy habits for the rest of the year!
Day 1 -
Get rid of toxic household cleaners and find natural replacements. Dish soap, laundry detergents, oven cleaners, and all purpose cleaners are all culprits of leaving toxic chemicals around your house. Try natural options like lemon essential oils, vinegar or natural cleaners. My favorite are Shaklee's Get Clean products. I have been using them for years, and I love them. They are super concentrated too, so you don't end up paying for water (like so many other cleaners) and you save yourself a lot of money!
