How To Get the Most Out of Your Workout

I was provided samples to try out for myself. All opinions are 100% my own.

I am always asking my personal training clients - are you getting your protein and carbs after your workouts? I take them through really intense workouts, and I want them to get the most out of their workouts. During those intense workouts, they are actually breaking down their muscle fibers, which is why it is so important to fuel afterward with the right foods and/or drinks. Here are a few great ideas on what you can use to refuel after your workouts.

  1. I have to say, I've not heard of any of these, but I'm game to try them. I always have made sure I didn't work out on an empty stomach, but never realized why they say it is important after - now I know!! These sound great!
