Baby Kicks Cloth Diaper Review and Giveaway

Since I have cloth diapered two children and am getting ready for my third, many of my cloth diapers have gone through a lot of wear. I have tried many different types, and I have learned what kinds of diapers work best and will last a long time.

There are a couple of things I look for when I shop for quality cloth diapers. I look for quality, safe cloth like hemp and organic cotton. I look for one size diapers, because they save you money since you can use them as your baby grows. And I also look for a diaper that will keep all the ickiness inside without messy leaks. I just recently found a diaper that fits all these criteria from BabyKicks.

What really sets BabyKicks apart is the fact that they use hemp fiber in their products. Why does this matter? Well, hemp has great durability, absorbency, and it has natural anti-microbial properties. This means your baby will be protected naturally from bacteria, mold, mildew and fungus. Plus, using hemp, instead of cotton, really is better for the environment. Hemp does not deplete the soil; in fact hemp leaves return nitrogen back to the soil, which improves soil fertility, therefore requiring less fertilizer for subsequent rotated crops. Two thumbs up for hemp!

The diaper I received is a pocket diaper that includes a waterproof cover with nice soft fleece lining on the inside. It also has a wide pocket where you easily stuff the super absorbent one size insert that's made with 2 layers of microfiber and 2 layers of hemp terry. I love this combo, because the microfiber and hemp together has been known for its ability to contain leaks. I love how this Pocket Diaper also gives you the option to have natural fibers against baby’s skin with no stuffing required. All you have to do for that is lay the insert inside the cover hemp side up and there you have it!
You can get this diaper in many different colors, and you can also get it with snaps to close instead of the velcro. I personally prefer snaps, so that would be my recommendation. Like I said earlier, since this diaper grows with your baby, (it actually fits a 7 lb-40 lb baby) you are going to be using it a lot and saving yourself even more money!

For only $15.99, it is a great investment, and you can find all the BabyKicks diapers on their website and tons of other places online.

We are giving away (1) of these fantastic diapers to (1) lucky winner!! (Enter below. Giveaway is open to US and Canada)
