I hope everyone is enjoying my Fall Fitness Event so far! As the cooler weather creeps in, you may not be able to get outside and work out as much as you would like. I know you probably don't want to think about snow, but when it hits, it has a way of keeping you inside and away from workouts. Plus, who cares what your body looks like when it is covered in 10 layers of clothing, right? Wrong!! I want to help you fight the lack of motivation that may start to set in with the chilly weather.
Together with Collage Video, you can find the motivation you need. They are my favorite website for exercise videos, hands down. For over 25 years, Collage Video has seen the need for a better way to shop for exercise videos. Just reading the back of the box doesn't really help you find out what you are getting yourself into when you buy a video. You may find that you don't like the trainer, that it isn't intense enough for you, or that it is too intense. The back of the video doesn't tell the whole story. Collage Video does, and that is what I love about them!
As I shopped their site, I was thoroughly impressed by how well they rate and describe each and every exercise video. You can browse through several helpful categories like My Goals, Workout Types, Instructors, Brands, Equipment Used and Specialty Videos. Or you can look at the popular searches.
I could spend all day on the website, because I am super picky about my workout videos. Collage Video is the first site I have found where I was confident that I was going to be getting DVDs that I would love!
I chose my favorite trainer's DVDs, Jillian Michael's - Jillian Michael's 6 Week Six Pack and Jillian Michael's Ripped in 30. I was so excited to receive my package and get started. I was not disappointed. Not only did I receive my videos quickly, but they were exactly what I expected.
It has been awhile since I did a Jillian Michael's workout, and I loved it! In fact, I think she is getting a bit more professional in her videos, which I appreciate. Each one of these workouts will kick your butt in a good way.
There are two different workouts in the 6 Week Six Pack. The second one is more advanced, but the first level is very good too. Both workouts are just over 30 minutes, which is perfect for a busy mom to squeeze into her day. If you want rockin' abs, this is a great video to buy. She focuses on mostly core, but adds a little of other muscles, because to tone your abs you need to work the full body.
Ripped in 30 has 4 different workouts, each just over 30 minutes also. Again, the first workout is the lowest level and then they progressively get harder. However, the first workout is not a throw away by any means. With her 3-2-1 method of total body training, these workouts are going to leave you feeling great!
