MUVE Dance DVDs Review and Giveaway

I am excited to share with you a fun workout and dance method like nothing I have ever seen - MUVE! It is such a fun way for individuals, children, families, and seniors to stay active and have a blast!!

MUVE is a spontaneous, non-choreographed style of dance. Three Basic MUVES are the foundation of endless variations of dance movements. A Muse leads the various motions. The other dancers follow "loosely," tailoring their movements to fit their ability, energy level, and creative spirit. MUVE DVDs feature colorfuol animated graphics which add excitement, instruction and boost motivation.

MUVE improves overall health and flexibility. Continued practice builds strength and stamina and helps with losing weight. Dancing improves emotional well-being and is just so much fun!

The creator of MUVE, Maggie Kunkel, has an absolutely awesome mantra that I love, "Inspiring people to dance for health and happiness." She has created what I think is just such a fun way to get people up and moving. You have to like the exercise you do, or you just won't do it! I have seen that over and over again in my fitness background.

Now, this dance program is truly unique. From the Hawaiian flare and music to the laid back way you can personalize each workout, it is a great breath of fresh air!

I recommend you start with the practice and instruction section, which is easy to follow and learn. Then, you can choose to follow the instructor or check out the icons on the side of the screen to help you follow along. The three basic steps are super easy to catch on to, and I liked following the instructor loosely, adding my own flare to the dances. It really boosted my mood and energized me!

You can choose from three play lists of dances/workouts. The first several are "short and sweet" - about 10 minutes long. The second are "Island party" - about 20 minutes long. The third bunch are "It's a Workout" - about 30 minutes to one hour long. You can choose if you want mellow energy, elevated energy, and high energy. So, you can really personalize your workout!

I really liked the music in each dance! The dance moves are quirky and non-intimidating. Some of the dances are done with children, some with adults, and some had mixed generations of participants. It is really great to do with the whole family! Some people may start out feeling a little silly during some of the dances, but if you just let loose a little and have fun, you will love it!

There are two MUVE DVDs: Family MUVE and Mellow MUVE. The Family MUVE is for everyone and can really get your heart rate up! The Mellow MUVE is for beginning exercisers or those who prefer a slower pace. You can buy both of these DVDs right on the website individually or for a better deal, get both!!

For TWO of my lovely readers, we are giving away to each of you a Family MUVE dvd! How awesome is that??
